It worked! They really did their job...And the stayed around until there were no more Gophers left!
That sbake picture is beautiful but rather scary, too!OldLady Of The Hillshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02458879772193114892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2353280526628627983.post-71129128349976354522011-03-08T16:00:54.495-08:002011-03-08T16:00:54.495-08:00Hello, Sue. Even the big golpher (yeah!) snakes who earn their keep until some hawk decides he wants snakelunch! Drat.

Garter snakes, like all snakes, are meat eaters. Their diet consists of almost any creature that they are capable of overpowering: slugs, earthworms, leeches, lizards, amphibians, birds, fish, toads and rodents. They are good clean-up helpers.
xoOregon Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07304465767994530731noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2353280526628627983.post-30474971860614429902011-03-08T14:13:40.488-08:002011-03-08T14:13:40.488-08:00Trisha- I knew I would hear from you on the snake)...Trisha- I knew I would hear from you on the snake):-

In real life- he was back today (I'm still hoping he's an orphaned only child) he is tiny.
