Summer is the time when one sheds one's tensions with one's clothes, and the right kind of day is jeweled balm for the battered spirit. A few of those days and you can become drunk with the belief that all's right with the world.

  1. Hi Lydia,
How fun! That looks like the perfect summertime activity. Did you get to pet the rays?

  2. Hey Joan!

We pet the rays the moment we found their pool.

At feeding times people are asked to keep hands out of the pool so our fingers don't get mistaken for the skewers that held their "shrimp kabobs".

  3. Lydia,

Don't know how I do it but I have missed the last two new blogs. I am now in the habit of scanning down to see what I have missed. Glad I did or I wouldn't have seen that great photo of you getting ready to feed the rays! Where was this? Was it Sea World?
Looks like you all were having a great time!

  4. We had a WONDERFUL time. I need to write more about what we did that day. Destination 1 was the Aquarium of the Pacific- right across the bay from the Queen Mary. GREAT restaurants nearby.
